9 points, 2 rebounds doesn't really blow anybody away on a stat sheet, until you look a little further to the left and see that those numbers came in only 16 minutes of gameplay for Gerald Green.
Green who played for the T-Wolves for 8 months had no problem sparking a 7-0 run against his former teammates to put the Mavs up 78-69, from that point on the Mavs were able to comfortably coast this one into the win column.
Dirk Nowitzki led all scorers with 21, Jason Terry followed with 19.
Rashad Mccants led the Wolves with 18 as the Mavs get their first win of the season,
on the road.
